AML Compliance Intern (6 months)

  1. Assist in compiling regular AML reporting with data collection
  2. Assist for reviewing transaction monitoring reports quality
  3. Assist for organizing AML related meeting agenda & minutes
  4. Assist in organizing certain items of special AML projects
  5. Assist in providing quality assurance on customer due diligence cases
  6. Assist for follow-up of AML related issue tracking
  7. Provide the assistance on AML training awareness programs
  8. Other matters to be assigned by line manager

Education:
Bachelor degree or above
Having career planning with financial services industry

Skills:
Good interpersonal skills
Good Microsoft office skills (Word/Excel/Power Point)

Others:

Digital Client Business Intern (6 months)

  1. Assist project manager to plan/monitor the progress/quality of programs.
  2. Plan and execute related campus events (physical & digital) for investment knowledge education and Nomura SITE's service introduction.
  3. Collect and analysis the market info. and best practice for the program design & execution.

Education:

Bachelor (Above) major in marketing, big data analysis, digital communication or general business.

Skills:

  1. Familiar with Python, Power BI and MS-office application or related software for data collection, processing and analysis.
  2. Good communication skill and detail oriented, with English proficiency is a plus.
  3. Passion in developing integrated marketing/communication for investment knowledge education and financial services.
  4. Basic understanding of e-Commerce & digital marketing.
  5. SITE/SICE related license is a plus.

RegTech Development & Data Analysis Intern (6 months)

In response to the increasing requirements on AML monitoring and review, we would like to develop the capability of “RegTech” to improve the efficiency and minimize the risk of human error. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who could turn data into information and turn information into solution to analyze the current workflow/data and build up an automatic/semi-automatic AML reviewing & monitoring process.

Skills:

  1. Possess the ability of data-mining and data integration to analyze and integrate amounts of unstructured data.
  2. Familiar with programming language (e.g. Python, R) to conduct the data cleaning for us to have a more constructed approach in reviewing clients' risk.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data so as to provide solution to the problem business side faces now.
  4. Strong knowledge of Excel to build a semi-automatic process for recurrent transaction monitoring.

Marketing Intern (6 months)

  1. Marketing campaign & event support & execution
  2. Regular material production and report
  3. Marketing material idea and production

Education:
Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in marketing, finance & economic, or a related field.

Skills:
Fluent in MS-Office (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint) skills, video & photo edition software will be better.

Others:
Good in English

IT Intern (6 months)

  1. This position will be required to assist IT in establish test plans, test scenarios, performance test cases, and developing document based on assigned works.
  2. Be capable to understand business requirement and design specification, and performance development based on assigned project or task.
  3. It’s required to applying best practice of IT policy and standard in daily procedures and development lifecycle.
  4. This position may be required to process large volume of data, develop program of data analytic and apply knowledge of machine learning.

Others:

  1. Have obtained or are pursuing a B.S./B.A in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management or other software technical subject.
  2. Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems at first place.
  3. Familiarity or experience with software development and application testing concept is preferred.
  4. Good verbal, email written and communication skills.
  5. Good at ASP.Net, C#, Web Service, CSS, jQuery, Python and knowing design pattern is plus.
  6. Good at T-SQL and SQL development using stored procedures, SSIS. Spark SQL will be a plus.

Channel Financial Management Intern (6 months)

Assist daily transactions:

  1. Collects and examines orders from agents and investors and enters relevant data into the order-receiving file, and DMS system.
  2. Categorizes orders and passes them to Fund Administration Department for further procedures.
  3. Contacts agents/ investors for incomplete applications, researches reasons for incomplete application data, and follows up each case with agents/ investors.
  4. Other assignment requested by the supervisor.

Education: College or University above

Skills:
Chinese and English typing over 40 words/min
Good at MS-Office (Power Point, Excel)
Good communication skill and detail oriented

Others:
Personal Attributes: Self-disciplined and problem-solving oriented

Channel Support Intern (6 months)

Assist AML-related operation:

  1. Execute client internet check and TDCC
  2. TDCC name screening
  3. Client’s information key in & filing
  4. Assist to complete the KYC/ CDD/ EDD periodically client review
  5. Contact clients if necessary when executing the above jobs
  6. Other assignments requested by the supervisor

Education: College or University above

Skills:
Chinese and English typing over 40 words/min
Good at MS-Office (Power Point, Excel)
Good communication skill and detail oriented

Others:
Personal Attributes: Self-disciplined and problem-solving oriented

Investment Risk Intern (6 months)

Junior Investment Performance and Risk Analyst:

  1. Generating routine performance and risk reports
  2. Annual broker review project
  3. RPA job follow up
  4. Provide support on relative reports and excel files progressing
  5. Provide support on monitoring absorption risk at sub-fund level, assets eligibility assessment and assisting on ensuring that all exceptions are handled in time and efficiently.

Education:
Bachelor degree or above
Major in Statistics, Data science, Finance, Engineering or Excellent skill in data analysis

Skills:
Good knowledge in data analysis, numerical or quantitative techniques, or data bank. Excellent in VBA, Advance Excel, Power Point (Plus: SQL, Access, Power BI)
